HumidX cartridges are small heat and moisture exchangers that provide you comfort and effective humidification for most climates and sleep environments. Cartridges should be replaced after 30 days of use and are not suitable for washing.
HumidX is ResMed’s standard waterless humidification system, suitable for most climates. HumidX Plus is intended for use in dry and high altitude environments where humidity is low (e.g. airplane cabins).
Compatible with AirMini Travel CPAP machine.
Compatible with the P10 nasal pillows, N20 and N30 nasal masks.
Please note HumidX is NOT compatible with the F30 full face mask while HumidX Plus is NOT compatible with the F20 or F30 full face masks.

How HumidX works
HumidX is a waterless humidifier that’s designed to provide you with more comfort by retaining the moisture and heat in the air you breathe, and offering relief from possible dryness and congestion. When you exhale, heat and moisture is captured and stored within the HME’s tiny paper ridges. When you inhale, this heat and moisture is released to humidify the air you breathe in.
HumidX can be inserted directly between the mask connector and the vent, providing effective waterless humidification at a compact, effective and comfortable level.
Please be advised each HumidX lasts for 30 days once it has been opened out of its packaging.
HumidX Plus is also available for use in dry conditions, including aircraft cabins.

What is the ResMed HumidX Waterless Humidifier and how does it work?
The ResMed HumidX Waterless Humidifier is a small heat and moisture exchanger (HME) designed specifically for the ResMed AirMini travel CPAP machine. Unlike traditional humidifiers that require distilled water, the HumidX captures heat and moisture from your exhaled breath and releases it back to you when you inhale. This provides effective humidification without the need for bulky water tanks or electricity.
What is the difference between Standard HumidX and HumidX Plus?
There are two versions of the ResMed HumidX humidifier filters available:
- Standard HumidX (Blue/Grey): Best suited for average to humid climates or environments where the air already has some moisture.
- HumidX Plus (Grey): Designed for dry climates, high altitudes (like on an airplane), or for users who require a higher level of humidification.
Which CPAP masks are compatible with the ResMed HumidX?
The HumidX system is exclusively designed for the ResMed AirMini setup. It is compatible with the following masks when used with the specific AirMini setup pack:
- AirFit P10 for AirMini
- AirFit N20 (with AirMini setup pack)
- AirFit N30 for AirMini
Note: The AirFit F20 uses a different specific cartridge (HumidX F20).
How long does one ResMed HumidX filter last?
Each ResMed HumidX waterless humidifier filter must be replaced 30 days after opening the package. Even if you do not use it every night, the technology begins to degrade once exposed to air. To ensure optimal hygiene and humidification performance, please replace the filter monthly.
Can I wash the HumidX filter?
No. You should never wash or submerge the HumidX unit in water. Washing it will damage the paper ridges inside and ruin the humidification capabilities. If the filter appears dirty or is older than 30 days, discard it and replace it with a new one.
